Synopsis
Gabriel Duval, a young Salubri antitribu embedded in the Oakland Sabbat, chafes at his mentor's patient preparation to destroy the Tremere chantry. An unauthorized scouting trip reveals something his blood recognizes in the wards — and something ancient waking beneath the foundation.
Author's Note
Written in a single gallivanting session. The buried Salubri element beneath the chantry was an unplanned discovery — it emerged during the Shadowlands chapter and I don't have an answer for what it is yet. That feels right. Let it breathe.
